What’s included in a Super 8 motion film package?
Our packages include a roughly 2 minute highlight film set to music.
We also include 7 to 10 minutes of the uncut, chronological footage. The super 8 film reel as an heirloom keepsake is available upon request.
Please note: these times are based on 8 hours of wedding day coverage. Timing and details may vary with multi-day or extended wedding coverage.
Describe your approach?
We believe in the nostalgic nature of this medium. Our approach is not focused on a specific shot list of posed moments.. but instead we focus on capturing the day from a guests perspective. We desire for the footage to feel warm and cozy. Capturing the people that were invited into your day, reactions, the overall atmosphere. This is our storytelling perspective.
What are the limitations of Super 8?
Super 8 is a true film medium. With film and its unique nature, comes the lack of ability to capture very dark settings. We do our absolute best to capture moments from each part of the day incorporating our own subtle lighting when necessary, but we can cannot guarantee lighting will be ideal for proper exposure of the film during very dark receptions or dances.
Anything else we should know?
Devon, Nicole’s partner is the man behind the film camera. Dev’s background is in fine art and thoroughly enjoys being apart of wedding celebrations. His priority is allowing the day to flow with ease and film the real moments and reactions.
